i blog first :P

i didnt really elaborate on the retreat i went to so i shall now :D

adapted from diane's blog (XD) & of course i edited parts of it :

we reached the hotel at about, 10+, earlier than expected. We then went for the briefing first, and then we went to our room. Our room was a 4 room suite, the biggest they have there. It really looked like an apartment.

Then, we had the first of a series of sermons conducted by Rev. John Kok. At first, I thought he was fine, a rather experienced person, but then, he started the series of sermons about himself. Usually i can take that kind of shit, but that was too much. hes soooooo EGO. diane and i were like WHAT THE CRAP? and yet he goes 'im not saying this to boast, to promote myself *blahblahblah*.'

How ego is that la, really! He was also saying how well he did in his studies, how he is musically inclined, sports inclined. Whatever la! At this rate he can be Prince Charming right! -__- except that his looks spoils it. and he kept saying that others said he was young. the phos guys and girls were like T__T at him. darryl like wanted to slap his forehead anytime alr.

Anyway, we had free time after that. The girls crashed the guys' room, a smaller one. We hung out for a while, playing cards, watching TV, laughing at each other. and i was badly teased -.-

Then, we had round 2 of the sermons. I can't pay attention to those in the night, really.So diane and i kept wandering off to the toilet, which was clean and huge, and we nearly fell asleep on the big benches there lol. After sermons there were group discussions.

After that we went back to the guys' room, again. It was our favourite hangout because we had adults in our suite, and the guys won't go there. so we could do what we wanted in the guy's suite. :D so sam went back to her room to do homework, and weiyee and i lazed about watching tv at the guy's suite.

woke up at 6:15 AM to bathe. then called wei to get up too. went for early breakfast as i was STARVING. the rest just had to follow me about XD the food at the hotel seriously SUCKED.at least weiyee and i thought so. diane and sam felt it was fine. i ate 2 plates of nasi lemak with chicken rendang, a plate of noodles,abit of porridge,a bowl of cereal, and finally, strawberry yogurt. Alot right? :D

No. 3 sermon again. Ditto. Group discussion, ditto. Lunch time! Didn't eat at all. was too full.

We had quite a long period of free time that day. I played squash and watched people play table tennis. weiyee and i made our own squash game LOL. anyhow whack. diane and wei went swimming later, but i decided not to and accompany sam. she didnt bring her swimming suit D:

The Phos guys were playing water polo with the older guys too. Which means they were half-naked. A sight to behold indeed -.-

After dinner, was the LAST of his sermons. (finally) Group discussion, then we had a durian feast, trademark of QBC. I didn't eat though, I'm not the durian person. Marcus kept whining that the durians tasted horrible, not bitter enough, not ripe enough. he likes super bitter durians. whats wrong with him man!

We went to the guys' room again.got teased AS USUAL. This time, we watched movies, soccer, played tai-di and such. We watched SAW4. AWESOME MOVIE. though i like it, there was 2 scenes i couldnt take. one was darn anti-climax and scary, the other was of the scary jigsaw doll with red spiral cheeks. *shudders* i hate dolls.wei and diane were so freaked out by the movie.

After that watched soccer on tv for awhile. Then later, went to watch Kung Fu Panda late at night,like at 12 AM plus. and everyone on the bed started falling asleep. Darryl and Marcus was the first to konk-out, then me eventually. Soon, only Joel and Diane were awake. Diane was pretty comfortable, at the expense of MY leg getting numb. She was rolled up in Joel's blanket, and lying on her leg. My neck hurt like crap, only coz i had to sleep in such a twisted way so that i wasnt like lying on marcus. stupid la! why he take up so much of the bed!!

We then went back to sleep, but ended up watching the last bit of The Incredibles on Jeremy's laptop. :DSlept at about 2.30am. Early.

Third day

i woke up SUPER late. supposed to get up at 6:30, but ended up waking up at 7:45. BREAKFAST WAS AT 8. and like i guessed, the guys woke up even later. they got up at 8:15 =.=

Then, we had worship, and a presentation from the kiddies. Haha, I remember we used to get sucked into doing these kinda things when we were younger. And we were actually enthusiastic about it! ( i think)

checked out after that.

Went shopping and Jusco after that. Bought a hot pink Mango tank top with Diane for just RM15! That's like, $7+ sing! Crazy sale man. so many people.

One standing joke during the retreat: On the first day, Sam fell down a small step. And went 'Aiyo my ankle/knee ah!' I have been doing that ever since, saying that down a step with actions just to infuriate her.And i did it in a guniang way! Hi-five Diane!! :D

eh see! so fun to bully head prefect!

okay, so that was about it.

i wanna go back to retreat. sucks going to school again. UGH.
